FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VANCOUVER — October 1st, 2017 — Today, LightFlow Interactive released breathing flow, a new app that helps users breathe their way to a positive state of mind. Using touch sequences and audio and visual cues, users learn breathing techniques that have been shown to help manage stress and boost concentration.

breathing flow works differently than other relaxation apps; the simple touch interface was designed by game industry veterans to engage multiple senses. By allowing users to touch, hear and see the breathing sequences, the experience becomes an immersive game, not a chore.

The app is based on yoga and meditation techniques that have been the subject of scientific study in recent years. Multiple peer-reviewed studies have noted the effects of smooth, rhythmic breathing patterns on the parasympathetic branch of the nervous system, which can combat stress, enhance performance and promote a sense of well-being. Practicing regulated breathing for as little as 10 minutes a day has also been shown to relieve high blood pressure, asthma, PTSD, anxiety and other stress-related conditions.

“I believe games can be much more than entertainment — they can be interactive experiences that contribute to the user’s personal growth,” said Arnaldo Rodriguez, Founder of LightFlow Interactive. “The breathing flow app is a personal breathing coach in your pocket. It helps you find peace, whenever and wherever you need it.”

breathing flow is available for download in the Apple App Store. For more information, please visit breathingflow.com.
